Normal Saturday?

Hello everybody!

I was shopping again today. Is this a normal saturday for me? Actually not, I can't remember going shopping so often in Austria, but the weekend is the only time of the week I can go into town without time problems. And I have to get a lot of things I didn't think of when I was in Austria, like another rainjacket because my wonderful black rainjacket with the white points isn't good enough when it's really raining a lot. :( I still can use it when I walk, but not when I go by bike. Moreover, I wanted something that reflects in the dark, when I have to cycle home late and I was lucky, I got it in the same shop as my rainjacket.
And I bought a dictation machine today, not the best one, I thought this one should do it and I hope it will. Otherwise I will have to swallow my pride, ask my dad to sell it on ebay and go back to get the better one. But I will try it with this one first. It isn't bad and I normally sit quite near the teacher during the lectures, so it should work. I am curious, how much I will really work with it, though.

My day began very lazy again. However, I wanted to do something and couldn't because I promised Judit to wait here until half past eleven, so she can pick up the letters she got to this address. After she came, I was strangely tired but didn't want to sleep. So I packed my things and went to town. I got the music for the violin lesson (I will start to play third position!!!), than the dictation machine and the rain jacket. I also met Ioan and we had a lovely talk which ended in giving him my e-mailaddress in case he goes to the theatre in Norwich and I want to come too. It's nice to meet someone who isn't a fan of parties either and want to spend time in a different way. I think, he can be a very good friend and I am happy that he will be here the full year too.

I also bought another little pot because I don't want to use the pot that was here. I don't trust it, it's a little bit rusty and I am not sure if it's really clean, so I bought a cheap pot just for small things to make like the sauce for pasta and stuff like that. I also got a nice lemon squeezer, quite expensive but it was the only one I've found and I will take it home! The shop where I bought it could be one for Lukas and Daniel with their product design, they really have interesting stuff in there.

After coming home I had to go to the Laundrette because the washing machine was finished and I can't try my bedlinen and duvetcovers without a tumble dryer. I was in the Laundrette already once to ask if I can only use the tumble dryer and the woman said yes, that's not problem although there are only five and other people may use it. That was indeed the case but I didn't have to wait for a long time and there was a nice black guy who showed me what I have to do so it works. All in all I spent one pound to dry my things and maybe one hour in the laundrette.

In the meantime it was already six o'clock and I was really tired after doing so much. I had planned to test a recipe for avocados that I found on the internet and bought all the incredients, but I did not have enough energy anymore and so I made a sweet chili chicken pizza. I ate one like these two weeks ago and it was delicious. It's not the type of pizza I am used to. I don't think any Italian would make a pizza with chicken on it, but the other frozen pizzas don't really taste as good as real Italian pizzas and so I prefer to don't eat any similar pizzas. Unfortunately, this pizza wasn't as good as the other one. I think, I have to order it once at the ASDA home-delivery website. That's a really good thing in England. You don't really have to go shopping, you could order everything and let them bring it to your house. I haven't done it yet, but I will try it sometime.

Charlotte invited some friends this evening, they drank one and a half bottle of wine and then went out as soon as Eugene came home. Lévana has gone out recently too, so I have the house for myself! I don't feel like doing much, though, I am much too lazy at the moment. Hopefully, I will work something tomorrow.

I hope you had a great time today too!
XO Florentina

PS: What are you saying now, a whole post in English! Isn't that amazing?
